Job summary

ABB is seeking a Construction Sales Engineer in the Cincinnati, OH area. You will drive sales of ABB Electrification products, build key customer relationships, and coordinate offers with the bid/proposal team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in large commercial construction and industrial projects in the electrical products industry.
• Experience working with electrical contractors and channel partners.
• Knowledge of the Cincinnati area electrical industry is preferred.
• Ability to use analytical software and sales tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sells ABB electrification products to customers in Cincinnati and surrounding areas.
• Establishes and maintains customer relationships to understand needs and promote ABB solutions.
• Prepares offers with bid and proposal department; ensures technical and financial aspects.
• Meets qualitative and quantitative sales goals to grow orders, revenue, profitability and market share.
• Participates in a hybrid work model prioritizing the Cincinnati metro area.
