ABB in the United States is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to drive growth in the Greater Ohio territory, focusing on Data Center, Renewable, and Waste Water markets. The role requires regular travel across the state and collaboration with Market Development Managers to win new business.

You will build deep relationships with engineers, contractors, end-users, and OEMs, provide technical guidance, and develop a robustsales pipeline while aligning with ABB's vertical-market strategy.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial sales or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of ABB installation products and their applications.

Aufgaben

• Drive Specifications & Technical Support: Collaborate with engineers to ensure ABB products are specified in new projects and renovations.
• Convert End Users and OEMs: Support efforts to convert end users and OEMs to ABB products through technical expertise and relationship building.
• Engage with Contractors: Work with contractors to ensure ABB products are used in their projects, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
• Customer Engagement & Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong local relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, installers, distributors, end-users, and industry partners.
• Build Sales Pipeline & Internal Collaboration: Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive engagement with potential customers and stakeholders.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and provide VOC to Market Development Manager and Product Managers.
