Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Services Field Application Engineer to support the Regional Commercial team in developing field services proposals for power delivery, utilization, and automation systems. You will identify value-added solutions for industrial and utility customers and travel up to 50% within the Western US, while working in a remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred with 6+ years of related experience.
• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience acceptable for related roles.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business Growth: identify new opportunities, introduce products/services, and support sales and profitability goals.
• Deliver Technical Solutions: develop and present proposals aligned with customer needs, highlighting scope and benefits.
• Lead Project & Proposal Execution: provide technical leadership for field service proposals, site assessments, and cost estimates.
• Ensure Operational Alignment: communicate requirements to sourcing/operations and support NPI programs.
