Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive electrification product sales across the Kansas City metro area, serving commercial, industrial, and government segments.

You will identify opportunities, present technical differentiators, and work with Product Managers to close gaps and grow ABB's market share. This remote-friendly role is for candidates located in the Kansas City metro area and reports to the District Sales Manager, Mid-South.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience; 10+ years if high school diploma.
• Experience in large commercial construction and industrial projects in the electrical products industry.
• Experience working with electrical contractors and channel partners.
• Knowledge of ABB products in the region.
• Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and tracking upcoming sales opportunities and shaping customer specifications to favor ABB and increase market share.
• Educate customer base about differentiating products with technical presentations and introduce new products to existing customers.
• Collaborate with Product Managers by identifying product gaps, providing input on new product introductions and sharing customer feedback.
• Generate cross selling leads and make it easier to do business with ABB Industrial Solutions.
