Job summary

ABB is seeking a Sales Specialist for the Kansas City, MO area. You will be responsible for selling Electrification products within the Kansas City trade area, meeting sales goals and growing orders, revenue, and market share.

This remote role requires knowledge of the electrical industry and collaboration with contractors, channel partners, and Product Managers. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Business) or a HS diploma with 10+ years of sales experience, plus 5+ years

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years of sales experience in large commercial construction and industrial projects in electrical products.
Experience with electrical contractors and channel partners.
Knowledge of the region's electrical industry and ABB products preferred.
Sales tools experience (Salesforce.com) preferred; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and shape customer specifications to increase ABB market share across commercial, industrial, and governmental segments.
Educate customers with technical presentations; introduce new products to existing customers and identify target customers.
Collaborate with Product Managers by identifying product gaps and providing feedback on new introductions.
Generate cross-selling leads and make it easier to do business with ABB Industrial Solutions.
