Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a sales and marketing support professional to help meet regional goals in the United States. The role involves client visits, telephone and group selling, and collaboration with operations and corporate staff to develop service proposals.

Responsibilities include regular account calls, effective customer presentations, and participation in trade shows and professional societies. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) and no experience, OR Graduate of electrical technical school or equivalent, and five years of similar work.
• High school diploma or equivalent and eight years of similar work.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, some overnight travel to cover sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales support to meet area sales goals.
• Make regular sales calls on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
• Make effective customer presentations, accurate and technically correct proposals.
• Perform marketing support to promote the Company’s image.
• Assist in developing the area sales and marketing plan and bring input/new ideas.
