Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to lead sales and marketing efforts for the Service Center network in the assigned region. You will act as a technical expert, drive client conversations, and manage territory, accounts, and programs to strengthen Vertiv’s market position.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers and representing Vertiv at industry events, with significant travel. A strong background in electrical services or sales engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer or technical schooling with related experience in electrical services or sales.
• Progressive responsibility in sales engineering or technical sales environments.
• Strong communication, presentation and field travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales support to meet area sales goals.
• Make regular sales calls on major accounts and establish new contacts.
• Deliver accurate, technically correct proposals and pricing.
• Mentor junior sales engineers and transfer technical and sales skills.
• Participate in trade shows and industry associations.
• Develop and execute area marketing plans and regional strategies.
