Job summary

Vertiv in Richmond, VA is seeking a sales and marketing support professional to help achieve regional goals through client visits, calls, and presentations. You will develop proposals with Operations and corporate staff and contribute to area marketing and trade show activities.

The role requires strong customer focus, ability to travel up to 75% within the territory, and a willingness to partner with the Training Services & Speaker's Bureau as needed. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer (BSEE/BSME) or electrical technical school or equivalent with varying experience.
• Five to eight years of similar work depending on education.
• Willing to work flexible hours, some travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales support to meet regional sales goals.
• Make regular sales calls on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
• Present effectively to customers; pricing should be accurate and technically correct.
• Perform marketing support to promote the Company’s image.
• Implement area-marketing plan monthly.
• Assist in new service assessments, market research and literature development.
• Promote sales through public relations and participation in trade shows.
• Present training services and speakers bureau.
• Participate in Area Management Committee and contribute to area sales/marketing plan.
