Job summary

Dow Sabine Operations seeks an Electrical Production Engineer to optimize, troubleshoot, and design electrical equipment in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include field oversight, coordination with operations and maintenance, and project-based reliability improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. U.S. work authorization is required; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Coordinate repairs and reliability improvements with operations and maintenance.
• Develop scope, design, and specs for motors, breakers, relays, transformers, and other equipment (480V–138kV).
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and capability.
• Support large MV generators, excitation, and protection systems.
• Initiate and manage small projects to improve reliability; coordinate larger projects.
• Oversee commissioning and startup support for electrical systems.
• Serve as electrical technology liaison between project engineers, maintenance, and operations.
