Job summary

Dow Sabine Operations in Orange, TX seeks an Electrical Production Engineer to optimize, troubleshoot, and design electrical equipment for safe, reliable operations.

In this role, you will work with operations, maintenance, and project teams to implement reliability improvements, oversee commissioning, and support large/medium voltage systems. This position emphasizes field work, safety, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• U.S. work authorization with no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems including switch gear, motor control centers, transformers, VFDs, UPS, DC systems, and electrical safety.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project development to identify and implement repairs and reliability improvements.
• Develop scope, design, and specifications for industrial electrical systems (480V to 138kV).
• Monitor system performance, load flow, and anomalies; recommend reliability improvements.
• Provide technical support for large/medium voltage generators, excitation and protection systems.
• Assist in maintenance planning for generator turn-arounds and electrical equipment maintenance.
