Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical one-line diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems, including switch gear, motor control centers, transformers, VFDs, UPS, DC systems, and electrical safety.
• Maintain contact with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project development to identify repairs and reliability improvements.
• Develop scope, design, and specifications for motors, breakers, relays, generators, substations, and transformers (480V–138kV).
• Monitor system performance, load flow, and anomalies; propose reliability improvements.
• Provide technical support for large, medium voltage generators, excitation and protection systems.
• Assist in maintenance scope planning for generator turn-arounds; support electrical maintenance/repairs.
• Initiate and implement small projects to improve reliability; coordinate larger projects with teams.
• Oversee commissioning, startup, and support of electrical systems with maintenance personnel.
• Serve as electrical technology liaison among project engineers, maintenance, and operations.
• Support business teams to maintain and improve electrical reliability while reducing costs.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance and assess equipment against service conditions.
