Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Concord, NC, seeks an Electric Foreman to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems while leading, training and evaluating your team.

You will read project drawings, develop material lists, manage schedules, ensure NEC compliance, and troubleshoot circuits using Trimble, Navisworks and BlueBeam as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and can mentor a team of ~ five workers.
• Able to read and understand project blueprints, schematics and specifications.
• Communicates effectively with trades and supervision to plan assignments.
• Familiarity with construction schedules and on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and electrical devices.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
