Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring work quality and safety, while coordinating schedules and material lists.

You will read blueprints and specifications, perform field layout, and troubleshoot circuits. Strong leadership, communication with trades, and familiarity with Trimble/Navisworks are required for success.

Qualifications

• Leads and mentors a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
• Strong ability to read and interpret project blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Understands construction schedules and can monitor progress against plan.
• Excellent communication with clients and cross-trade teams to assign work.
• Ability to develop material lists and manage manpower for efficient workflow.
• Familiar with BlueBeam/Navisworks for project planning and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Contribute to achieving production and budget goals.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, install conduit and electrical devices safely.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings and project documents.
• Conduct field layout using Trimble equipment/software.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
