Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will guide Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, mentor the team, and ensure safety and quality on site.

You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and manage material lists, layouts, and field work using Trimble and related tools. This role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and adherence to NEC standards.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Able to lead a crew of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Able to read project specifications, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating that to the team.
• Ensure all work by crew is within local and NEC guidelines.
• Independently measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project drawings and lay out work from drawings and documents.
