Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician in Dunn, NC to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical installations. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, read blueprints, plan man-hours, and ensure work meets NEC and project specifications.

You will develop material lists, manage scheduling, and troubleshoot electrical systems on site, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction in commercial/industrial environments
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a leader
• Understanding of a small, assigned scope of work
• Communicates with other trades and negotiates work assignments with trade supervisors

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team
• Ensure all work by the crew complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders
• Read and understand project specs, blueprints and schematics
• Layout small areas from drawings and project documents including underground layout
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
