Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical construction projects in commercial and industrial environments. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, coordinate layouts, material needs, and ensure work meets high quality and safety standards.

You will read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics, perform field layouts using Trimble tools, and mentor the team to achieve production goals while maintaining NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead a crew of ~5 workers including Helpers, Apprentices, Journeyman.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate construction schedules.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
• Proficiency with Trimble, BlueBeam, Navisworks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure quality work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals.
• Ensure crew complies with NEC and local codes.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform field layout and conduit installation.
• Troubleshoot basic lighting/power circuits.
• Work safely and as a team.
