Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical construction projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence on commercial/industrial sites.

The role requires hands-on field work, reading blueprints and specifications, and coordinating material lists with supervision. Proficiency with Trimble/Navisworks and BlueBeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proven leadership with ability to mentor and coach a crew of ~five.
• Ability to read blueprints, project specs and schematics.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.
• Experience with construction schedules and field layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside crew and ensure high standards of quality.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Read project specs and blueprints; perform field layout and underground layout.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
