Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical work. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, mentor the team, and ensure installation, alteration and repair work meets the highest standards while aligning with specs and NEC guidelines.

You will read blueprints, prepare material lists, develop work plans, and coordinate schedules to achieve production and budget targets, using Trimble and related tools as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 electricians and helpers.
• Strong blueprint and contract document interpretation skills.
• Experience reading project specs, schedules and blueprints.
• Proven ability to develop manpower schedules and manage budgets.
• Capable of coordinating with other trades on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high quality work and adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Assist in meeting production and budget goals and safety standards.
• Verify work within local and NEC guidelines and perform field layout.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics; lay out work from drawings.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing; troubleshoot circuits.
