Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise and mentor Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring quality and compliance with NEC standards.

You will read blueprints, develop manpower schedules, and coordinate material lists with supervision while guiding the team to meet production and safety goals. Experience with Trimble/Navisworks is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proven leadership abilities to guide a crew of ~5 Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand contract-related documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.
• Basic understanding of customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Understanding of construction schedules for the assigned scope.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam/Navisworks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work is to the highest standards.
• Assist in the development of an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating that to the team.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
