Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial projects. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers while ensuring quality work and adherence to NEC guidelines.

You will develop manpower plans, interpret blueprints and specifications, and coordinate materials and schedules to meet production and budget goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of project drawings and specifications.
• Develop manpower schedules and communicate needs to supervision.
• Knowledge of NEC guidelines and safety practices.
• Able to read blueprints and contract-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew to ensure high quality standards.
• Develop an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuitry and schematics.
• Layout work from drawings and project documents, including underground.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment/software.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
