Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration, and repair work while mentoring the team and ensuring adherence to NEC and local codes.

You will collaborate with supervision to develop manpower plans, prepare material lists, and maintain quality and budget goals.

Qualifications

7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and when to escalate.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Work alongside the crew to ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
Develop a manpower schedule for the team and communicate it to supervision.
Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating it to the team.
Ensure all work by crew is within local and NEC guidelines.
Perform field layout, measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit.
