Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial projects, overseeing installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems. You will train Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, and ensure work adheres to NEC and local codes while coordinating material needs and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and project docs to drive efficient execution on-site.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor and coach a crew of five.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.
• Proficient in estimating manpower and coordinating layouts.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam and Navisworks for project planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on job sites.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Oversee field layout and conduit sizing.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and NEC guidelines.
