Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical construction projects. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, oversee quality, and ensure schedules and budgets are met.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, project docs, and coordinating with other trades is required. You will perform field layouts, install conduits and devices, and apply NEC standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in electrical construction (commercial/industrial).
• Ability to lead a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
• Strong understanding of a small, assigned scope of work.
• Reads blueprints and understands project documents.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn Trimble/Navisworks/BlueBeam as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job demands.
• Help meet production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Layout and install electrical conduits and devices on site.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform field layout with Trimble equipment and software.
• Assist in coordinating with supervision and other trades.
