Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, mentor, train, and evaluate performance while maintaining quality and safety on site.

You will read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schematics, develop material lists, manage schedules, and coordinate with other trades to ensure projects meet NEC guidelines and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership to mentor ~5 workers (Helpers, Apprentices, Journeyman).
• Ability to read blueprints and contract documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn to read construction docs and schedules.
• Understanding of customer relations and satisfaction.
• Experience following construction schedules and overtime.
• Familiarity with Trimble equipment/software.
• Team-player with safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure work quality and safety standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals by clear instruction.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform field layout and conduit installation.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
