Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Moore, SC seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, repair and commission electrical systems, train staff, and ensure work meets NEC and local codes.

You will read blueprints, develop material lists, manage schedules, monitor quality and safety, and collaborate with supervisors to hit production and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five workers.
• Ability to read and understand project blueprints and contract documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervisors; ability to negotiate assignments.
• Understanding of construction schedules and customer relationship concepts.
• Willingness to participate in leadership training and develop scheduling skills.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam/Navisworks software for project plans as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to highest standards and adherence to NEC/local guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through clear team communication.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit; install wiring and devices.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics; coordinate with other trades.
