Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Greenwood, SC is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems, mentor the team and ensure work meets NEC and project specifications.

Responsibilities include developing manpower schedules, reading blueprints and schematics, performing field layouts with Trimble tools, and coordinating with other trades to maintain safety

Qualifications

7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
Proven leadership with ability to mentor a team of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen.
Strong ability to read blueprints, project specs, and schematics.
Experience with field layout and coordinating with other trades.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Ensure quality of work meets the highest standards.
Develop manpower schedules for the team.
Prepare material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
Perform field layout and install electrical conduit and devices.
