Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects, interpreting blueprints and coordinating field layout, materials, and schedules. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring safety and quality while meeting project goals and deadlines on site in South Carolina.

Experience leading teams, developing manpower schedules, reading project specs, and using Trimble/Navisworks for field layouts is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong reading of blueprints, project specs and coordination with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform field layout and use Trimble equipment/software for layouts.
