Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead installation, alterations, and repairs while mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to NEC and local codes.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced blueprint reading, and the ability to manage schedules and material lists from project layouts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities; mentor and coach teams of helpers, apprentices and journeymen.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a crew to meet project goals and schedule.
• Strong blueprint and schematic reading for commercial/industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Assist in achieving production and budget goals.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Layout, measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and electrical devices.
• Interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform field layout and use Trimble equipment as needed.
