Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Able to lead, mentor and coach a small crew of five.
• Understanding of blueprints and contract docs.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.
• Willingness to learn reading project plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew ensuring quality meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panel boards.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Layout work from drawings and underground plans.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment/software.
• Determine wire, conduit, and box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
