Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on power generation projects. You will oversee industrial electrical installations, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and travel to job sites as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on field leadership and adherence to contract specifications. Responsibilities include coordinating with crews and subcontractors, scheduling, and problem-solving to keep projects on track while maintaining high safety standards across sites

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work; superintendent experience not required.
• Candidates with foreman or general foreman background encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Strong work ethic, safety passion, and commitment to ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Plan, schedule and execute field operations per contract specs and electrical code requirements.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to maintain workflow and schedule.
• Develop a schedule based on man hours to support the overall project plan.
• Resolve conflicts, inform project and management as appropriate.
• Ensure safety rules and nondiscrimination policies are followed consistently.
