Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical installations on power projects. You will supervise craft workers, maintain safety, quality, and productivity, and work in the field to meet project goals.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating with subs, and ensuring compliance with contract specs and electrical codes. A background in industrial electrical work and a focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work. Candidates for this role are not required to have Superintendent experience, those who have performed as a foreman or general foreman are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing the performance of safety, quality and production
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
