Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical installations across power plant projects. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity, with hands-on supervision of craft workers in underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, terminations, and equipment installation.

You will plan schedules, interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with contract specs and electrical codes while relocating as needed to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Candidates for this role are not required to have Superintendent experience; foreman or general foreman experience encouraged.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including safety and nondiscrimination policies.
