Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on power-generation projects. You will supervise craft workers, ensure safety, quality and productivity, and coordinate with subcontractors across the site.

The role requires experience in industrial electrical installs, including duct banks, conduit, cable trays, terminations, and equipment installation, with travel as needed and a focus on timely, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Travel willingness to relocate as needed.
• 5+ years of work in industrial electrical installation scopes of work; prior superintendent experience not required.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Strong initiative, ethics, safety focus, and teamwork.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work.
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
• Ensure project rules and safety programs are followed consistently, including non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
