Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on industrial electrical installations, including underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, pulling, and terminations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity while spending significant time in the field.

You will supervise crafts, coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors, and develop schedules to support project milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Supervisory or foreman experience is acceptable and encouraged.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Plan, schedule and execute field operations ensuring compliance with contract specs, electrical code, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion.
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties; inform management as appropriate.
• Uphold safety, attendance and workplace behavior standards per company policies.
