Job summary

IES is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, on-time project completion at Dallas-area sites. You will lead installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, review plans, and communicate requirements to field personnel while maintaining quality and compliance with codes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring electricians and apprentices, and maintaining meticulous field records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant electrical experience may substitute.
• 4–6 years of electrical installation, construction, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience.
• Experience leading or supervising electrical crews preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and field leadership may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and daily field activities to support schedules and quality.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for accurate project execution.
• Review plans, blueprints, specifications, and work orders; communicate requirements to field staff.
• Ensure work complies with policies, safety standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor jobsite progress, materials, equipment, and conditions; address safety or quality issues.
• Coordinate with project leadership, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams on needs.
• Provide direction, training, and support to electricians, technicians, and apprentices.
• Maintain records and project documentation related to field activities.
