Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman in Austin, TX to supervise electrical crews, coordinate daily field activities, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on electrical projects. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and leadership to guide electricians, technicians and apprentices on site.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining documentation while upholding company standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of electrical field experience
• Experience leading electrical crews or field operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of codes and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews and coordinate daily field activities
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work
• Review plans and communicate requirements to field personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes
• Monitor progress, materials, equipment and site conditions
• Coordinate with project leaders, customers and subcontractors
• Provide direction and training to field personnel
• Identify and resolve field issues promptly
• Maintain accurate field records and progress reports
