Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman in San Marcos, TX to oversee electrical field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, on-time project completion. You will lead electricians, technicians, and apprentices, review plans, and communicate requirements to the team while upholding company standards and applicable codes.

Responsibilities include supervising daily field activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining records, and coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous electrical installation, construction, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience required.
• Previous experience leading or supervising electrical crews or field operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and daily field activities to support project schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
• Review project plans, blueprints, specifications, schematics, and work orders and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure electrical work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, applicable electrical codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor jobsite progress, workmanship, materials, equipment, and site conditions and address issues that may impact safety, quality, or project completion.
