Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, on-time project completion. The role requires overseeing installation, maintenance, and testing per codes and customer expectations, while mentoring electricians and apprentices on site.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of electrical field experience, strong reading of blueprints, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years electrical field experience.
• Experience leading electrical crews or field operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Licenses or certifications as required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews and daily field activities to support schedules, productivity, and quality.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work for accurate project execution.
• Review plans, blueprints, specifications, and work orders and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure work complies with company policies, safety standards, and electrical codes.
• Monitor jobsite progress, materials, equipment, and site conditions; address safety, quality, or completion issues.
