Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment across customer sites in the U.S. The role emphasizes problem solving, customer focus, and collaboration with partners and teams.

Training is provided, with tools, uniforms, and devices supplied. The position is site-based with occasional longer hours.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• Industrial and/or Commercial Electrical experience.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Work with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Continuous learning and training on products both in the field and classroom.
