Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to join our U.S. Services team. You will perform startup, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, read schematics, and communicate clearly with customers, electricians and project teams.
This role requires 2+ years of field service experience with UPS or power distribution, strong safety practices, and the ability to travel regionally, including overnight trips when necessary. Training is provided.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical-related disciplines.
- Read blueprints/schematics and understand AC/DC power concepts.
- 2+ years field service repair with UPS or power equipment.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
Responsibilities
- Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications.
- Diagnose issues with customers and partners; document service reports.
- Coordinate with District/Regional teams to resolve escalated problems.
- Travel within region; support larger project start-ups when needed.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety policies.
