Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites across the United States. You’ll collaborate with customers, technicians, and partners to solve problems and deliver reliable power solutions.

The role includes field service reporting, travel to sites, and ongoing training in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and interpret electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with AC/DC power and distribution components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS or related equipment.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets; communicate findings to customers and teams.
• Collaborate with managers, support staff and partners to resolve escalated issues.
• Travel within region; support larger system startups as needed.
• Maintain safety, gear, and documentation per company policies.
