Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on power distribution equipment at customer sites. This site‑based role includes occasional non‑standard hours and travel within the region.

You will work with customers, electricians, and project teams, complete field service reports, and participate in safety programs while delivering reliable service and solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, trade/vocational certification, or equivalent military training in electrical‑related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power principles and distribution components.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS systems and power distribution.
• 2+ years of field services or equivalent industry experience.
• Safety practices including lock‑out/tag‑out and safety trainings.
• English proficiency required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, and district service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Collaborate with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing learning and training on various products in the field and classroom.
