Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, timely completion of projects. You will lead installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in the field while aligning with project plans and codes.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of electrical leadership experience and a Kentucky Master Electrician license. The role requires reading blueprints, managing schedules, and training electricians on-site with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Lead and train electrical crews and field personnel.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background and driving checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and field activities to support schedules and quality.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Review plans, blueprints and specifications and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure work complies with policies, safety standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor jobsite progress, materials, equipment, and conditions and address issues impacting safety or quality.
• Coordinate with project leadership, customers, subcontractors, and vendors on activities and needs.
• Provide direction and training to electricians and apprentices.
• Maintain accurate records and project documentation.
