Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Leadman in San Antonio, TX to perform advanced electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair while driving efficiency and project completion. The role partners with customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure safe and compliant electrical work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant electrical license preferred; candidates actively working toward obtaining their license will also be considered.
• Previous electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience within construction, operations, or service environments preferred.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced technicians is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Lead electrical jobs, primarily focusing on rough-ins and trim-outs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate project execution.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and leading less experienced technicians as needed.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
