Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to coordinate and lead electrical design for Federal Buildings projects, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely deliverables. You will work with architects and engineers, seal drawings, and support energy compliance requirements.

The role is hybrid with office attendance required a few days per week, and travel may be necessary for DoD and federal projects. A PE and REVIT proficiency are preferred, along with US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and at least 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency in REVIT and PE registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Designer of Record (DOR) for electrical design projects, including schedule, budget, and quality control.
• Lead calculations, load analyses, energy compliance, and prepare construction drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
