Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design efforts for federal facilities. You will coordinate deliverables, perform calculations, and seal construction drawings in a multi-disciplinary team. This role emphasizes communication with stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines.

The position requires a BSEE, 5+ years of design experience, and a PE license. Hybrid work and DoD project exposure are expected, with travel as needed and strong REVIT skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• At least 5 years of Electrical design experience.
• Professional Registration (PE).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce electrical design deliverables.
• Act as Designer of Record (DOR) for electrical projects.
• Lead design efforts within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Gather information from stakeholders and perform calculations.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Handle RFI and Change Order processes during construction.
• Design and size lighting systems and controls.
• Prepare load analyses and energy compliance documentation.
