Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in the United States (Arlington, VA) to lead electrical system design for building services. You will perform lighting, grounding, and protection calculations, prepare drawings and energy-related reports, and coordinate with architects and engineers across disciplines.

Hybrid work model with travel to client sites is expected. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, PE license, US citizenship, and 10+ years in a corporate engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• At least 10 years of experience in a corporate engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform electrical system calculations for lighting, grounding, and protection.
• Prepare drawings and basis of design reports for building systems.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and support construction administration.
• Travel for project design support and client interaction as needed.
