Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design efforts for Federal Buildings and DoD projects. You will own deliverables, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure quality and timely work in a hybrid office setting.

The role requires BSEE, PE, and 5+ years of electrical design experience, with REVIT proficiency and the ability to travel as needed. We offer strong health benefits, 401(k), stock options, and PPTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and 5+ years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with REVIT and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• U.S. Citizenship and willingness to travel domestically and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Act as Designer of Record (DOR) for electrical design projects including schedule, budget, and QC.
• Seal/stamp construction drawings and specifications.
• Gather information, interview stakeholders, perform calculations and prepare rough layouts.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Perform design calculations for lighting systems and controls; energy compliance.
