Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); at least 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Professional Registration (PE).
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both in person and in writing.
• Overseas & US based travel may be required.
• Proficiency in REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts as Designer of Record (DOR) including schedule, budget, and delegation of work to junior staff.
• Gather information, interview stakeholders, perform studies, calculations, and prepare rough layouts and sketches.
• Present findings and outcomes to clients and other stakeholders.
• Perform high level tasks under minimal supervision using defined standards and codes.
• Support project designers and architects with materials selection and system research.
• Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and related controls.
• Prepare load analyses and energy compliance calculations and forms.
• Manage construction administration and RFIs/Change Orders for assigned projects.
