Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking an Energy Marshal to lead and oversee the electrical energy isolation program for large-scale MEP systems in mission-critical facilities. The role requires ensuring safe work practices, coordinating energization activities, and serving as the technical authority on on-site electrical operations.

You will partner with the Commissioning Team to manage safety, review energy isolation procedures, and drive continuous improvement in electrical safety across 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of applicable experience in industrial or commercial field engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical energy isolation program at site for MEP energy across assigned location(s).
• Review procedures, job hazard analyses, and permits to ensure safe operations and compliance.
• Coordinate energizations/de-energizations with other energy marshals and stakeholders.
• Lead pre-energization and energization meetings for FoK energization of equipment or systems.
• Develop risk assessments for energized environments and approve LOTO permits.
• Attend commissioning meetings and safety briefings; ensure PPE and tools are suitable for use.
